 Dear DEOs and APCs in the state are requested to instruct the school teachers and District CMOs, SS to attend virtual meetings on orientation of Swachh Vidhyalaya Puraskar 2021-22 without fail. Treat as most urgent. Ensure maximum number number of participation of schools in the National awards and make it maximum number of submissions. The process of submission will be explained during tomorrow meeting I.e., on 4/02/2022 from 2:00 to 3:00pm through DIKSHA platform.

Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2021-22 How to Apply, Guidelines SCERT, Amaravati - School Education & Literacy, ministry of Education is going to launch the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2021-22

Sub:- Director SCERT, Amaravati - School Education & Literacy, ministry of Education is going to launch the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2021-22 Regarding.

Read: Letter received from the Maneesh Garg, Joint Secretary (SS-II), dated: 10.01.2022.

All the District Educational officers in the state are informed that the MoE had launched the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar in the year 2016-17 to recognize excellence in water, Sanitation and Hygiene in schools, in which all the State and UTS have been participating whole heartedly.

They are further informed that the Department of school Education & Literacy, ministry of Education is going to launch the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar, 2021-22, in which a new section on COIVID Preparedness and Response has also been added, considering its implications for health, hygiene and safety of the children. In view of the ongoing pandemic, the window for applying for swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar has been kept for 3 months further in case of closure of the schools, they may not be called for the survey specifically, they may apply as per their convenience once the situation improves.

How to Apply:

1. All Government, Government aided and private schools from both rural and urban areas are invited to apply for the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar - https://swachhvidyalayapuraskar.com

2. The registration of schools would be done with the UDISE+ code of the school

3. Schools will first complete the primary information section in the prescribed format and submit.

4. Steps to apply :

Step 1: Click to Sign-up with the above link & Click to Login with the above link.

Step 2: Fill Online Survey If you do not have a UDISE+ code, download the Data Capture Format (DCF) and submit at Block / District / State level office to generate the UDISE+ code.

Methodology of selection of schools for the awards:

I. The process for identifying and recognizing schools for awards is as below:

II. Schools will register and submit information as per the prescribed. self-assessment format for the school level information under the Annexure 1 (Section A: Primary information (for registration) & Section B: assessment categories (for survey)) made available online (http://education.gov.in → Swachh Vidyalaya Swachh Vidyalaya. Puraskar 2021-22) or by downloading a mobile app, Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2021-22. The mobile app can be downloaded from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The registration of schools would be done with the UDISE+ code of the school.

III. The website/mobile app is customized to cater to different categories of schools. Schools are expected to provide accurate information as required in the format.

IV. The information in the format corresponds to the requirements in Swachh Vidyalaya guidelines. Annexure 2 provides the list of indicators categorized under (a) Water (b) Toilets (c) Handwashing with Soap (d) Operation and Maintenance and (e) Behaviour Change and Capacity building & (f) COVID-19 (Preparedness and Response) 

V. Maximum scoring for each parameter is given in the table:

 Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors, District Educational officers in the state are requested to give necessary instructions to the School Headmasters in the state about SVP Guidelines, registration process and maximum registrations and participation of schools in the awards from all districts. And also requested to appoint one nodal person at District level and Mandal level to coordinate the activities of the Awards.
