PM YASASVI: పేద విద్యార్థులకు వరం ‘పీఎం యశస్వి’.. దరఖాస్తు చేశారా?

 ఆర్థిక వెనుకబాటుతనంతో చదువులకు అనేక మంది దూరమవుతున్నారు. చదువులను మధ్యలోనే చాలించి ఉపాధి బాట పడుతున్నారు. ఈ పరిస్థితులను మార్చాలన్న సంకల్పంతో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రవేశపెట్టిన ‘పీఎం యశస్వి’ PM YASASVI (యంగ్‌ అచీవర్స్‌ స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌ అవార్డు స్కీమ్‌ ఫర్‌ వైబ్రెంట్‌ ఇండియా) స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌ స్కీమ్‌ పేద విద్యార్థులకు ఓ వరంలా మారుతోంది. కేంద్ర సామాజిక న్యాయ, సాధికారిక మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఈ ఏడాది 30వేల స్కాలర్‌షిప్స్‌ కోసం నేషనల్‌ టెస్టింగ్‌ ఏజెన్సీ (NTA) యశస్వి 2023 ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష (YASASVI entrance Test)కు దరఖాస్తులు ఆహ్వానిస్తోంది. ఈ పరీక్షలో మెరిట్ ఆధారంగా విద్యార్థులను భారీ ఉపకారవేతనాలకు ఎంపిక చేస్తారు. పూర్తి వివరాలివే..

స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌కు ఎవరు అర్హులు?

NTA నిర్వహించే యశస్వి ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష(Yet 2023)లో అర్హత సాధించాలి. ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష రాసేందుకు ఎనిమిదో తరగతి పూర్తయి ఉండాలి. ప్రస్తుతం  9, 11 తరగతులు చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థులు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవాల్సి ఉంటుంది. సదరు విద్యార్థుల తల్లిదండ్రుల వార్షికాదాయం రూ.2.5 లక్షలకు మించరాదు. ఓబీసీ, ఈబీసీలతో పాటు డీనోటిఫైడ్‌ కుటుంబాల బాలలు, సంచారజాతులకు చెందిన పిల్లలకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఉంటుంది.

ఉపకార వేతనం ఎంత చెల్లిస్తారు?

యశస్వి ప్రవేశ పరీక్షలో మెరిట్‌ సాధించిన విద్యార్థులకు ట్యూషన్‌ ఫీజు, హాస్టల్‌ ఫీజు చెల్లించేలా స్కాలర్‌షిప్‌ మొత్తాన్ని ఒకేసారి జమచేస్తారు.  9, 10 తరగతులకు గాను ఏడాదికి రూ.75వేలు చొప్పున, అలాగే, 11, 12 తరగతులకు రూ.1,25,000 చొప్పున ఉపకారవేతనాలుగా చెల్లిస్తారు. ఈ పరీక్ష పెన్ను, పేపర్‌ విధానంలో ఉంటుంది. ఎన్‌టీఏ నిర్వహించే ఈ పరీక్షలో మెరిట్ ఆధారంగా అర్హులను ఎంపిక చేసి ఈ మొత్తాలను బ్యాంకు ఖాతాల్లో జమ చేస్తారు. 

దరఖాస్తు ఎలా?

దరఖాస్తుల ప్రక్రియ ఇప్పటికే మొదలైంది. ఆగస్టు 8 రాత్రి 11.50గంటల వరకు దరఖాస్తులను ఆన్‌లైన్‌ https://yet.nta.ac.in/ లో స్వీకరిస్తారు. దరఖాస్తుల్లో ఏవైనా తప్పులు ఉంటే సరిచేసుకొనేందుకు ఆగస్టు 12 నుంచి 16 వరకు ప్రత్యేక విండోను అందుబాటులో ఉంచుతారు. యశస్వి ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష సెప్టెంబర్‌ 29న దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా జరగనుంది. దరఖాస్తు చేసే సమయంలో విద్యార్థులు మొబైల్‌ నంబర్‌, ఆధార్‌ కార్డు, ఆధార్‌తో అనుసంధానమై ఉన్న బ్యాంకు ఖాతా, ఆదాయ, కుల ధ్రువీకరణ పత్రాలు జత చేయాల్సి ఉంటుంది. దరఖాస్తుకు ఎలాంటి రుసుం చెల్లించాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు.

పరీక్ష ఇలా..

ఇంగ్లిష్‌, హిందీలో భాషల్లో నిర్వహించే ఈ పరీక్ష రెండున్నర గంటల పాటు ఉంటుంది.  మ్యాథమెటిక్స్‌కు 30 మార్కులు, సైన్స్‌, సోషల్‌ సైన్స్‌ సబ్జెక్టులకు చెరో 25 మార్కులు, జనరల్‌ నాలెడ్జ్‌కు 20 మార్కుల చొప్పున మొత్తం 100 మార్కులకు పరీక్ష ఉంటుంది. ఆబ్జెక్టివ్‌ రూపంలో నిర్వహించే ఈ పరీక్షలో ఒక్కో ప్రశ్నకు ఒక మార్కు చొప్పున కేటాయిస్తారు. నెగెటివ్‌ మార్కులు లేవు.

PM Yasasvi Scholarship-2023 

National Testing Agency (NTA) invites applications for the 'PM Yasasvi' (Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India) Scholarship Scheme 2023, introduced by the Central Government. Under the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, 30,000 scholarships will be provided for the academic year 2023.

* PM Yasasvi Entrance Test 2023.

Qualification: 8th Class/ 10th Pass. Students currently studying in 9th and 11th classes have to apply.

* Annual income of parents of students should not exceed Rs.2.5 lakhs.

* Preference will be given to OBC, EBC as well as students from denotified families and children belonging to nomadic castes.

Scholarship: Rs.75,000 per year for class 9 and 10 and Rs.1,25,000 per year for class 11 and 12.

* Scholarship amount will be deposited at once to pay tuition fee and hostel fee.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on merit in the successful entrance test.

Examination Process: This exam will be in pen and paper mode. This exam will be conducted in English and Hindi languages and will last for two and half hours. The exam will carry 30 marks for Mathematics, 25 marks each for Science and Social Science subjects and 20 marks for General Knowledge for a total of 100 marks. One mark will be allocated for each question in this objective test. No negative marks.

Application Process: Apply online. At the time of application, students have to attach mobile number, Aadhaar card, bank account linked with Aadhaar, income and caste verification documents.

Application Fee: No application fee is required.

Last date of application: 10.08.2023.

Entrance Test: September 29, 2023
