మొత్తం పోస్టుల సంఖ్య: దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 21వేలకు పైగా ఉద్యోగాలు. గ్రామీణ డక్ సేవక్(జీడీఎస్), బ్రాంచ్ పోస్ట్ మాస్టర్(బీపీఎం), అసిస్టెంట్ బ్రాంచ్ పోస్ట్ మాస్టర్(ఏబీపీఎం), దఖ్ సేవక్.. తదితర కేటగిరీల్లో ఉద్యోగాల భర్తీ ఉంటుంది.
ముఖ్యమైన తేదీలు:
అప్లికేషన్ ప్రారంభం తేదీ : 10 ఫిబ్రవరి
అప్లికేషన్ చివరి తేదీ: 03 మార్చి వరకు ఉంటుంది.
ఎడిట్ అప్లికేషన్ తేదీలు : 06 మార్చి నుంచి 08 మార్చి వరకు
విద్యార్హతలు : 10వ తరగతి పాస్ అయి ఉండాలి. మ్యాథమాటిక్స్, ఇంగ్లీష్ సబ్జెక్టుల్లో పాస్ మార్కులు వచ్చి ఉండాలి. 10వ తరగతి వరకు స్థానిక భాష ఒక సబ్జెక్ట్ గా కలిగి ఉండాలి.
వయోపరిమితి : 18 సంవత్సరాల నుండి 40 సంవత్సరాల మధ్యలో ఉండాలి. ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ కేటగిరీస్ వాళ్లకు 5 సంవత్సరాలు వయోపరిమితిలో సడలింపు ఉంటుంది. ఓబీసీ వాళ్లకు 03 సంవత్సరాలు ఉంటుంది. ఈడబ్ల్యూఎస్ కేటగిరీ అభ్యర్థులకు ఎలాంటి వయోపరిమితి లేదు.
దివ్యాంగులకు 10సంవత్సరాలు వయోపరిమితిలో సడలింపు ఉంటుంది.
వేతనం: బీపీఎం ఉద్యోగులకు వేతనం నెలకు రూ. 12,000 నుంచి 29,380 వరకు ఉంటుంది. ఏబీపీఎం, దఖ్ సేవక్ ఉద్యోగులకు నెలకు రూ. 10,000 నుంచి రూ. 24, 470 వరకు ఉంటుంది.
ఎంపిక విధానం : ఎలాంటి రాత పరీక్షలేదు. టెన్త్ క్లాస్ లో వచ్చిన మార్కుల ఆధారంగా మెరిట్ లిస్ట్ తీస్తారు. ఆ లిస్ట్ ప్రకారం ఎంపిక ఉంటుంది.

1. Branch Postmaster (BPM)
Number of Posts: As per Circle-wise distribution.
