పాఠశాలల్లో రెడ్ క్రాస్ యూనిట్లు ఏర్పాటు చేయాలి: గవర్నర్

పాఠశాలల్లో జూనియర్ రెడ్ ‌క్రాస్, యూత్ రెడ్‌క్రాస్ యూనిట్లను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని గవర్నర్ బిశ్వభూషణ్ హరిచందన్​ సూచించారు.

భారత రెడ్‌క్రాస్ సొసైటీ ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ బ్రాంచ్ నూతన వాలంటీర్ల నమోదు కోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా రూపొందించిన మొబైల్ యాప్‌ను గవర్నర్ ఆవిష్కరించారు.

పాఠశాలల్లో జూనియర్ రెడ్‌క్రాస్, యూత్ రెడ్‌క్రాస్ యూనిట్లను ఏర్పాటు చేయాల్సిన ఆవశ్యకత ఎంతైనా ఉందని గవర్నర్ బిశ్వ భూషణ్ హరిచందన్ తెలిపారు. ప్రస్తుత విపత్కర పరిస్ధితులలో శిక్షణ పొందిన రెడ్ క్రాస్ వాలంటీర్ల ఆవశ్యకత ఎంతైనా ఉందన్నారు.

ఈ క్రమంలో భారత రెడ్‌క్రాస్ సొసైటీ ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ బ్రాంచ్ నూతన వాలంటీర్ల నమోదు కోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా రూపొందించిన మొబైల్ యాప్‌ను గవర్నర్ ఆవిష్కరించారు. విజయవాడ రాజ్ భవన్ లోని దర్బార్ హాల్ లో ఈ కార్యక్రమం జరిగింది.

పాఠశాలలు, కళాశాలలలో జూనియర్, యూత్ రెడ్‌క్రాస్ యూనిట్లను స్థాపించడానికి, రెడ్ క్రాస్​కు సంబంధించిన సమాచారం పాఠ్యాంశాల్లోకి చేర్చడానికి అవసరమైన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని పాఠశాల విద్య, ఉన్నత విద్యా శాఖల అధిపతులను గవర్నర్ ఆదేశించారు.

నూతనంగా అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకువచ్చిన మొబైల్ యాప్ యువ వాలంటీర్లను పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో చేర్చుకోవటానికి, వారితో నిరంతరం అనుసంధానం కలిగి ఉండటానికి సహాయపడుతుందని గవర్నర్ వివరించారు.

 కరోనాపై పోరులో రెడ్ క్రాస్ ఎపీ బ్రాంచ్ ప్రభుత్వ కార్యకలాపాలకు సహాయకారిగా నిలిచిందని, 65రోజుల లాక్ డౌన్ కాలంలో కరోనాపై పోరులో సుమారు 2000 మంది వాలంటీర్లు పాల్గొన్నారన్నారు.

AP Red Cross is a digital platform for all the Red Cross Volunteers( Junior Red Cross/ Youth Red Cross/ Social Emergency Response Volunteers/Community Volunteers) in the State of Andhra Pradesh for on line training and capacity building and to monitor real-time the various activities undertaken by them.This mobile app is developed in house by the Andhra Pradesh Centre for Financial Systems and Services (APCFSS)under the Finance Department of Government of Andhra Pradesh for the Indian Red Cross Society(IRCS), Andhra Pradesh State Branch.
